SAFETY PLAN

We hope you never need to use one but just in case you do, having a Safety Plan is a must. This section tells you how to prepare a Safety Plan.

As part of your Safety Plan, you may want to include an Emergency Escape Plan, Emotional Safety Plan and Child Safety Plan.

As well, you may want to increase the safety of your home, neighbourhood and workplace; and be careful in how you use the Internet.

All of this may sound overwhelming but remember, you don’t need to do everything at once. Just start where you can and work on it day by day.
