OUR SHELTERS

Free, confidential and accessible to persons with mobility challenges, our shelters are the only safe havens for abused women and children in the Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, Ridgeway, Welland, Port Colborne, Wainfleet and Pelham areas of Niagara, Ontario.

Nova House, our Niagara Falls emergency shelter, has 20 beds.

Serenity Place, our Welland emergency shelter, has 10 beds.

In addition to safe refuge, our shelters provide the caring support and expertise of trained Women’s Intervention Advocates, who help empower women in the struggle to overcome abuse.

Our shelters provide a range of transitional services to residents and, on an outreach basis, to members of the community.

See EMERGENCY SHELTER for details on our shelter services.
See THE HELP YOU NEED for details on all of our free, confidential services.

LAST-MINUTE TIPS

If, as an abused woman, you need emergency transportation to one of our shelters, a list of what to bring (assuming you have time to pack) or help in planning a safe departure, simply call our 24-hour Crisis Line at one of the telephone numbers shown elsewhere on this page.

We will arrange emergency transportation if necessary and help you sort out any other concerns.

Even if you don’t feel that you need emergency shelter right now, keep our Crisis Line number handy in case an emergency should arise.
