IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE SUPPORT

If you are new to Canada or Canada is not your first home, dealing with abuse can be that much harder. Know that we are here for you and want to help.

In addition to all of our other services, we can refer you to community agencies that specialize in immigrant and refugee support.

Let us know if you need interpretation services for any reason and we will do our best to provide it.

Reminder: You don’t need to stay at one of our shelters to access our free, confidential support for immigrants and refugees. Simply call our 24-hour Crisis Line at one of the telephone numbers shown elsewhere on this page. We will be glad to discuss your needs and talk with you about next steps you might want to take.

Here are two legal links you may find useful:

Violet: Law and Abused Women
